Mr. Nicoll, artist–teacher
I studied art at the University of La Verne, and at the Pasadena Art Center of Design. In 2018 I complete study to earn a Master of Arts degree in Art Education from Eastern Illinois University. I began my career doing graphic design work for the Los Angeles Times, but starting in 1999 I primarily worked in the world of book publishing. I began teaching art and design in 2007 and started at Chaparral Middle School in 2010. I have a passion for learning and guiding kids to express themselves through art.

Class Policies
1. Student must have fun.
2. Students must challenge themselves.
3. Late policy—All work can be revised or turned in until the last week of class at full credit.
7. Water/restroom pass—Students will not be get three restroom passes for the semester. Use them wisely.
Class Room Rules
1. Respect — Always show respect to people and property
2. Keep the room clean
3. Always bring your materials to class.
4. Never mark on someone-else's work
