Abstract Art

• Use tempera paint on paper
• Create 3 abstract paintings: 1 Each— Objective, Non-objective, and expressionist
• Express your own feeling or mood with line, shape, color, and texture
• Choose one of your paintings. On the back write an explanation of what it is that your work is expressing.
• The three paintings should show 6 painting techniques including: Painterly, Press, Dry Brush, blending, Edge/Cut-in, and Under painting
• One Painting should be painted monochromatically (1 color mixed with black or white)
