Self-Portrait - Oil Pastel

Using the skills you've learned in our unit on contour line drawing, create a self-portrait using oil pastels. 

  1. Use 12x18 inch paper and oil pastels. (It is OK but not neccessary to outline the lines in black ink).

  2. Be creative with your color choices to reflect your personality.

  3. Fill the entire paper with pastels so that no paper shows.

  4. Draw the image of yourself large to fill most the paper.
